On my mind

I just realized I haven't posted all summer!  And for some reason today something heavy was laid on my heart.  I always try not to push my thoughts or opinions because I'm not always right, however I can say that I almost always do my research.  Particularly when it comes to my children.  It amazes me how parents go with the "norm" but if you'd do a little research you would realize it's not the "norm" anymore.  Starting from the day they enter this world we're bombarded with decisions that some of us don't even give a second thought to.  Circumsion, immunizations, medications, who does the research, are they all necessary, could there be a more natural alternative?  I have no real issue with any of these things, just the issue of parents jumping into them without any type of research on the subject matter.  And then lets argue about them even though I'm the one whose had my head in books for months and you simply have an opinion.  I seriously feel like most parents don't even think about any of these, they just do what the doctor orders.  All I can do is shake my head and keep my mouth shut, because it's not my child.  There are some of us who prefer to be more knowledable on a subject and less feebleminded. 

Note:  This blog was not intended at anyone, it's simply my thoughts for today.  It's crazy how they work sometimes.
